  Reading Is Fundamental

This next auction is for all you book lovers out there. If you appreciate fine literature then you'll certainly love this collection of stories which includes approximately 100 selections on about 360 pages and was selected and arranged by Frances Jenkins Olcott. Just a few of the titles are "The Ant & the Cricket", "The Leak in the Dike", "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", "Apple-Seed John" and "The Owl and the Pussycat". H. W. Longfellow, Alfred Tennyson, and Robert Browning are just a few of the authors. This book has a copyright date of 1913. It was published by the Houghton Mifflin Co. in October 1913. The hard bound cover is in pretty good condition but some of the pages have frayed edges. The binding is good and all the pages are attached and readable. This book is priced at only $3 at the moment so register now to bid. Auction ends 10/29.
