GovernmentAuctions.org President To Present at New Jersey Water Environment Association Technology Seminar

This coming October 2nd, you can catch our very own president, Ian, at the New Jersey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) Technology Transfer Seminar where he will be speaking about and presenting information on how to public utilities, municipal services and others can buy and sell surplus equipment online. The New Jersey Water Environment Association is an educational non-profit entity, dedicated to maintaining and embettering the water environment. The association was founded in 1915, and is actually the oldest non profit water-environment organization in the United States. It has a membership of roughly 2500 people which is comprised of scientists, engineers, operators, students, professional servicers, and others. The NJWEA is often billed as an environmental leader in the state of New Jersey. This seminar, entitled "Utility Administration" is a multi-day event and more information can be obtained in this PDF file.

Having appeared on CNBC's Power Lunch, and currently serving as contributing editor on the eBay Radio Show, Ian was invited to present at this event due to the authorititive knowledge he posseses on buying and selling seized and surplus government property and being the president of the parent company of GovernmentAuctions.org. As always, we invite you to Register Here.

A Sad But True Story with a Happy Ending!

I'm a customer service employee here, at GovernmentAuctions.org, and a sad but true story (with a happy ending!) happened to a friend of mine. He was recently mugged, and although the crooks walked away with over $1500 in jewlery and several hundred in cash my friend thankfully managed to walk away unscathed. After moping for several days over the incident I told him about how our website GovernmentAuctions.org provides information on seized and surplus items and -- with a little luck -- he'd be able to find a suitable replacement for the Baume and Mercier watch his wife bought him for Christmas. Sure enough three weeks later my buddy called me to tell me the exciting news. He was able to buy a gorgeous chronograph Tag Hauer for half it's value. Amazing!
