Delaware II Research Vessel: Way Cooler Than The State

noaaThis next auction item is different and very cool to say the least. It’s for a NOAA ship called the Delaware II. This ship was originally used as a research vessel, but has since been decommissioned and is now being offered to the general public. Built in in 1968, this ship is capable of sheltering and feeding an entire crew, not to mention it has all the navigational tools you’d need to help you on your voyage. Although it looks great on the outside and has been well preserved, the inside of the ship needs work. You see, asbestos was detected onboard and in order for the ship to be safe and up to safety standards, some parts of the ship will have to be gutted and removed. It may need work, but the Delaware II was once a great ship that can be restored to its former glory with your help. As of right now, the current price for it is just $1,000 with 7 days, 5 hours, and 44 minutes remaining. To find out more about this vessel, simply click here to activate your free trial account.
